On Tuesday, October 11, 2023, the Salem County Health and Human Services hosted their 2nd Annual Disability Awareness & Caregiver Resource Fall Festival where the 2023 Crusader Awards were presented to this year’s recipients. Cara Yarling, a teacher at the Pennsville Memorial High School, was unable to attend the festival so today we were honored to be able to present her with her Crusader Award at the high school in front of her class and with her nominator, Anna present.
Salem County Crusader Award
The Crusader Award is awarded to an individual/business/organization whose leadership and dedication have greatly improved the services available to residents in the County of Salem with special needs. The nominee must be a resident of the County of Salem or an individual whose energies are primarily directed towards improving the quality of services for the persons with special needs within the County of Salem.
