Know the facts about COVID-19 and help stop the spread of Rumors.

  1. Positive COVID-19 Cases in Salem County

Salem County Department of Health and Human Services will continue to keep the county up-to-date with the positive case counts at the end of every working day. The numbers that we report are for residents that live in Salem County that test POSTIVE for COVID-19. We do not receive cases if a person tests positive and works in Salem County but lives in another part of the state. Those citizens do not count toward the county total.

  2. Recovery from COVID-19

There is insufficient data at this time to support the idea that once a person is diagnosed with COVID-19 and stops showing symptoms, he/she is recovered and immune. Recovery from COVID-19 has not been defined at this time.

  3. State and County Parks

Governor Murphy announced yesterday that all state and county parks will be closed to the public. This includes walking trails, playgrounds, and picnic areas. The public needs to continue practicing social distancing to #STOP THE SPREAD.
