Health Education Division
A total of 620 residents from Salem County were interviewed by telephone to assess their health practices and health status. Interviews were conducted between August 30th, and October 8th of 2004. Each interview lasted approximately 12-15 minutes depending upon what criteria were met by respondents. Due to a larger proportion of female respondents in the Salem County sample, all of the results, except for the demographics, are weighted to correct for this representation. Both state and national BRFSS data are weighted as well to correct for imbalances in those samples.
