On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, The Salem County Department of Health & Human Services hosted their 3rd Annual Disability Awareness & Caregiver Resource Fall Festival! This year’s festival was attended by over 500 participants and was a fun filled with day with activities, demonstrations, fun, and most importantly resources and support! A special thank you to all our vendors, donors, sponsors, staff, & volunteers that helped make this event a success – it would not be possible without you!

Fourth Raccoon in Pennsville Area Tests Positive for Rabies Virus
A raccoon located in Pennsville, around the Highland Avenue area, was submitted to the state Public Health and Environmental Laboratory for rabies testing and was found to be positive for the rabies virus.
